The Eighth Anniversary of Telangana State Formation Day was celebrated on a grand scale at our headquarters on June 2nd, 2022.
The event was honoured with hoisting of the Indian flag and continued day long celebrations with Dhoom Dham and other Cultural events.
TSCAB officials with the team of BIRD, Lucknow who were on exposure visit for the Board of Directors of all State Cooperative Banks for the program conducted on “IT Management of Governance to Board of Directors & Senior Management of State Co-operative Banks”. They have visited Apex Bank to study the best practices in Information Technology & Cyber Security Operations on 18th & 19th of May, 2022 as part of their visit
NABARD, with a view to strengthen the co-operative credit structure in the country, has delegated a team of officials to TSCAB, from Uttar Pradesh Govt. as well as UP State Co-operative Bank on 09.05.2022 in order to get exposure to the best practices implemented in TSCAB which resulted in its steady growth. Sri Konduru Ravinder Rao, President have briefed the team of officers from UP govt., about transparency that is maintained in day to day activities including in the process of recruitment/promotions that are implemented, apart from effective accounting and audit policies etc.
The Managing Director briefed the delegates on the performance of the entire 3-tier structure in the state of Telangana with financial particulars in support of the claim that Cooperative Credit Structure is successfully implementing the policies for its all-round development, in turn contributing to the economic development of the state of Telangana. The delegates were also appraised about the successful implementation of computerization of PACS, they were also shown the functioning of the CSOC.
The exposure visit was attended by Sri B.L. Meena, IAS, CC & RCS, B. Chandrakala, IAS, Additional Commissioner and Additional Registrar, Uttar Pradesh, V. K. Mishra, MD, UPSCB and Presidents from 6 DCCBs, faculty members from BIRD, Lucknow.
Sri Govinda Rajulu Chintala, Chairman of NABARD, has visited Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. on 28.02.2022 for an Interactive meeting with Directors and CEOs of all DCCBs in the State of Telangana. On his visit to TSCAB he has reviewed the PACS Computerization project and PACS as Multiple Service Centres (PACS as MSCs), which is a prestigious project initiated by NABARD, which is implemented in the state to transform PACS into a Multi-purpose Service Centres in a pleased manner to handle various type of activities.
Sri G R Chintala, Chairman of NABARD had detailed discussions with the governing body on steps to be taken to strengthen the Co-operative system in the state and expand its business.
The Omicron, which is a different strain of of SARS-COV-2, that causes COVID-19 and was first reported in South Africa on 24th November, 2021. The Omicron has been designated by WHO as a variant of concern, as the variant has a usually large number of mutations when compared to other variants.
Keeping in safety of all and expecting social and moral responsibility by vaccinating and preventing the COVID spread, TSCAB has taken a precautionary measure to break the chain of COVID-19 in the State, organized vaccination drive to its employees twice, for the 1st & 2nd doses.
To ensure 100% vaccination to its employees on its behalf TSCAB has passed a resolution to stop salaries to the employees, who were not fully vaccinated, until they furnish the vaccination certificate/ the reasons for not getting vaccination along with the supporting documents.
Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank has bagged 4 awards. The Frontiers in Cooperative Banking Awards (FCBA), announced the Awards for cooperative Banks in different categories to the best performing cooperatives in the Country. TSCAB is the only State Co-operative Bank who have won 4 Awards out of 5 nomination to various categories and the awards were announced by Banking Frontiers in the online webinar session held on 23rd of October, 2021.
The 15th Edition of the National cooperative banking summit and FCBA awards 2021 program was broadcasted online on 22-23 of October 2021 along with NAFCUB CEO round table meet, where Dr. Bhagavat Karad, Ministry of State, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, was the Chief Guest. TSCAB have won Awards for 4 categories namely Best State Co-operative Bank, Best NPA management, Best Investment Initiative and Best HR Management. Additionally, TSCAB has won leadership Award for the category leadership best IT Head of the year.
TELANGANA STATE COOPERATIVE APEX BANK LIMITED has been bestowed with Best State Cooperative Bank award in the country by NABARD, Mumbai on the occasion of their 40th Foundation Day. The selection process involves collection of exhaustive information, verification and scrutiny of the same by NABARD submitted in prescribed format by all the 33 State Cooperative Banks. The award is reintroduced by NABARD after a gap of about 20 long years.
At the same time, Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank has also achieved the “Best DCCB in South Zone” award by their splendid performance surpassing 353 DCCBs in India.

The Apex Bank Staff Quarters has been inaugurated by Shri Singireddy Niranjan Reddy Garu, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Co-operative and Marketing of Telangana State in the presence of Shri Konduru Ravinder Rao, President TSCAB, Dr. Nethi Muralidhar, Managing Director and Board of Directors on 29th June 2021. The Residential Flats have also been allotted to the employees working in the bank.
Dr. Nethi Muralidhar is selected as Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd., Hyderabad for a term of three (3) years w.e.f.03.07.2021.
Event Update:
After successful testing of the Hitachi-make Cash Recycler Machine, the machine was deployed for public usage in the Head Office premises of our Bank on 17th March, 2021.
The CRM’s operations were inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of the Bank in the presence of all the higher officials of the Management.
About CRM:-
When one withdraws the cash, the total cash in the machine gets lesser, while the other deposits the cash, the total cash gets replenished. So the way, the cash gets drawn and replenished
is perceived as Recycling. Hence, the name – “Cash Recycling Machine”. CRM facilitates both the functionalities of deposit and withdrawal of cash. Along with all the regular services provided by an ATM, the
CRM provides for depositing the cash in the accounts of the customers. Presently, the cash deposit is allowed for only TSCAB’s account holders and at a later stage, the facility shall be extended to deposit in
the accounts of all the other Banks.

Sri Chintala Govinda Rajulu, who was appointed as the Chairman of NABARD recently has visited Telangana State for the first time on 27-08 2020 after assuming charge. As part of his visit, he participated in an event organized at the Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank along with Sri Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Co-operation and Marketing on 28-08-2020. He has detailed discussions on performance of Co-operative Credit System in the state and the progress on computerization of PACS. He had detailed discussions with Board of Directors on the steps to be taken to strengthen the co-operative credit system in the state. Sri Chintala Govinda Rajulu, Chairman, NABARD, has appreciated the Bank President and Managing Director for their work and on the Bank’s performance and other aspects. He has advised to increase business further and offered suggestions for the same.
The elections to the post of President and Vice-President of the Bank was held on 05-03-2020. Sri K. Ravinder Rao, President, Karimnagar DCCB and G. Mahendar Reddy, President, Nalgonda DCCB were elected President and Vice-President respectively. Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Marketing and Co-operation Sri Singireddy Niranjan Reddy garu has handed over certificates on 05.03.2020 in an event held at TSCAB, Head Office.
The Banking Frontier Magazine is presenting awards to the best performing Banks at national level in various categories every year. For the financial year 2018-19, Dr. Nethi Muralidhar has bagged Best Managing Director award in State Co-operative Banks category. Further, Apex Bank has also bagged awards in Best HR Innovation and Technology excellence categories. Bagging three awards out of 300+ nominations is first of its kind. The awards were presented by Sri Govind Goude, Hon’ble Minister of Co-operation, State of Goa, in an event held on 19-09-2019 at Goa.
Sri G. Ramachandran, Retd. Senior Class I Gazetted Officer (Central Govt. Services) is a customer of Vidyanagar Branch. He has written a letter to Joint Secretary, Banking and Operations, Dept. of Financial Services recommending the Vidyanagar Branch to be published as role model in Official Magazine. He has also mentioned that, there are very few organizations which show integrity and national devotion in serving the common people and Vidyanagar Branch is one of them.
The NABARD has also acknowledged the services of Vidyanagar Branch and has sent an appreciation letter.
